Rustic stood near his mate, allowing the rope to dig into his skin. He wondered what she was trying to do with him anyhow. He stood with his knees braced, not wanting to leave his family.
The Rebel was caught off balance, the latigo running along his knees. He slid to the ground, trying to regain his feet. The slashing of his legs caused the rope to entangle them, impairing his movement.
Fairy looked to the young stud realizing what was happening finally. She took a few steps whinneying to him. He had always been like her brother. She looked back to Viking, confused by these two loyalties.
