I was recently divorced. (My husband left and refused to work out the problems. I did not want the divorce.) Please pray that I am not forced out of my apartment and that I will always be in a stable job that pays all the bills and rent. I am writing form Hungary, Dunaujvaros. This town used to be the
'citadel' of communism, it was called 'Stalintown' named after Stalin.
We would like to take part on a festival with an outreach tent, and I
would like to ask you to pray for this.

I am writing to you because many people think that outreach is not a
good 'business' on a festival.
We are not a professional agency but enthusiastic young people. There
was a time when we took part on secular festivals and took drugs with
the others so we know that there is a great need to share the Gospel
with lost young people.
We do not ask for financial support but PRAYER SUPPORT. We believe
that every obstacle will be taken away with prayer.

things are going with this outreach.

This year there will be the EFOTT (Nationwide Tourism Festival of
University and College students) festival in our town, Dunaujvaros.
This is the second largest secular festival in Hungary, visited by
50-60.000 people.
We would like to be present on this with a huge outreach tent, which
is very unique, considering it is a secular festival.We plan a program
where all the representatives of the Hungarian Christian music will be
present, but beside the high standard productions, the main point is
to share the Gospel.
We made a poll, and this is the result: 16 bands, 3 pantomime groups,
a 20 member group of Christian actors, a 400 square meter tent, and
one of the best Hungarian organizer offerd his help.
There are other high standard Christian festivals in the country, but
here is an opportunity to share the Gospel with young people who
probably have never heard it before. 50-60000 Hungarian students who
are starting thier life now, which can be changed. As we know, most of
the university and college students drink alcohol regularly and many
of them take drogs. It is our resposibility to share the Gospel with
them and be witness to them about the Christian life. Christian
university and college students will share the Gospel in groups of 2-3
on the festival.
I personally have experience about the power of this ministry, as I
met 2 Baptist young people on a student festival in 1992, and the good
seeds were planted in my heart, whereat I am very thankful.
This is why I would like to recruit 100-150 brave people to take part
in this blessed work. This is an interdenominational initiation,
we welcome helpers from several churches and denominations.
We also would like to create a database containing the churces in
Hungary, so that people who are interested could find them and turn to
them.
Unfortunatly the festival can provide free tickets only for the bands
and organizers so the churches would have to pay the tickets for the
helpers as we do not have support for that. A 4 day ticket is 9000
HUF. We will provide full board for the helpers.
Place and date of festival : Dunaujvaros Szalki Sziget 2008. July 16-20.
Several Christian media will help in recruitment and cover from the location.
We think it a is a great opportunity to share our faith and God's love
with young people. We also plan to have coffee house for
conversations, drog prevention activity, outreach with music, and keep
thinking on other opportunities.
There is a lot to do until then and we would like to know how many
helpers we can count on. If God puts it on your heart and you can
support us in any way please let us know. We believe that young people
will return blessed from this outreach.
Please support us with your prayers in this ministry because prayer is
very efficient.
The main organizer of this ministry is the One who spoke on a tender
voice to those who have already offerd their help and I belive that
you can see this as a great opportunity.
Some say that they can not imagine an outreach tent on a secular
festival, but who do we have to take the Gospel to? Are they not the
lost who we have to share the Gosple with? Some say that there will be
enough Christian festivals, let's concentrate on those. But I wrote
this letter to you, that if God puts it on your heart, please pray for
us. Whatever we have came from nothing with the help of prayer.

My name is Bill. Recently my bruised hands(especially fingertips) have made me feel very painful; donˇ¦t know the symptom are caused by Raynaud's disease, circulatory disorder or anything else. I have scheduled a LIVER BIOPSY on Thur. Dec. 6th @ 8am @ St. Luke's Hospital uptown Manhattan.It will be done by my liver specialist Dr. Gabe;although young he is a highly trained dr., trained by a world class gastroenterologist.

Please pray that NO CIRRHOSIS will be found & for quick healing. I will have to remain at St. Luke's in bed for 6 hours & then rest the next few days.

Even though not a major surgery there are risks involved:

I also had to stop today taking Gout medications and other items; please note the last time I missed 5 days of gout meds I couldn't walk & had to be taken & admitted to the hospital.Praying that I can get through all of this until Thursday morning.

I am deeply in need for a financial miracle or blessing from God. I have an over $4000 dental Bill and even with the relatively good payment plan, the monthly payment is still very severe on our budget. I am the only one working in my family. Our car is not working at this time and my husband has had some major health issues that has prevented from getting a job right now. I need prayer for my husband to find a decent job and/or we receive some financial blessing to help cover this necessary dental work. I am trying to trust in God completely to meet this need as He is my provider and my shepherd but my flesh gets in the way and I find myself worrying and fretting over this bill. I feel guilty because it is so much, just on me alone and my husband needs work done also. I just need peace. Please pray that God meets this need and we can pay this debt without any problem. SUBJECT: HELP PLEASE!


To Whom It May Concern:

If I may take a few minutes of your time I would like to share with you where and how my family arrived to our current situation with our lives, this includes our finances, and how we got to this point. On May of 2006 I left my previous 12 year job with County Fire Department for the following three reasons: (1) my position with County was being eliminated as of July 1st 2006. (2) Because I was losing my job with County I tried to be positive, aggressive, and proactive in finding a new job before I was let go. I Began testing in Colorado in October of 2005 and was doing very well. I continued testing for the next nine months truly believing I would be successful in getting a job in Colorado in particular with the Denver City Fire Department. I thankfully was very successful with my testing efforts and the job was pending on passing a final background. The Start/hire date was estimated to be around mid July giving us enough time to pack, move, and get established in our rental home before I started my new job. (3) My wife was pregnant with our second child and was put on mandatory bed rest by her doctor until further notice due to complications. This happened in the end of April and I resigned 8 days later with County to be with my wife and my two year old daughter.

It’s about mid May of 2006; I am home packing the house to move, taking care of my wife and my daughter. I continued making trips to Colorado for final testing and to look for our new home and a rental. We as a family make a trip around the end of May and put money down on a new Pulte house in Broomfield Colorado as well as finding a rental to live in until our house is built. My parents came along with us because they are also selling their house and moving with us. Our current home in Helendale has not sold yet and the sellers market has dropped significantly from what it was one year ago. We decided that if it doesn’t sale before we move that we could afford to put it up for rent and we would be able to make up the difference with the money I would be making on my new job.

By June we are recovering from the loss of the our baby but we are trying to stay focused on moving and are looking forward to this exciting new start with our lives in Colorado. Ten days after losing our baby we receive a letter from Denver City stating that I did not pass the final Background and was disqualified for employment. Very confused, I called to find out what happened and they said that they could not divulge any information but said that I could hire my own private investigator to find out what caused the problem. I follow their advice and hire an investigator and find out that we have been victims of identity theft for many years and the investigator stated that this would automatically disqualify me from any government/public service job. I was confused and angry without any idea what or how this had happened or how to fix this problem.

It is now July of 2006 I am now without a job unable to move and trying to figure out what to do for a job to support my family and how do I accomplish fixing this identity theft problem. I spend the next 8 months trying to fixing the identity theft problem spending over 10, 000.00 dollars of our money (not to mention the 75,000 per year in wages and benefits that were lost when I was denied employment) making hundreds of phone calls to agencies such as San Bernardino County Sheriff, FBI, FTC, IRS, Homeowner insurance company, Social Security, AIG, Creditors, Banks, and many others. I have filed two dozen reports to meet the needs of every agency requesting documentation, I have also spend 8 to 10 hours a day looking for work, working on solving our multiple problems, or working on small jobs like washing cars, yard work, small construction jobs etc. I have turned in over thirty (30) applications but I am unable to find work because my fifteen years of experience, diploma, and formal training are all based on the Fire Service. The catch 22 dilemma is I can’t test for fire departments or other public service type jobs that I am trained and experienced in until the identity theft problem is solved or I would run into the same problem I had with Denver City. I continue to hear the same thing from every employer, why are you here and are you going to go back to the fire service? Once I explained the problem they seemed compassionate about my problem but were unable or unwilling to hire me. Over the months we get further and further behind financially. Our problems have now become a huge avalanche running at full speed and devouring everything in its path. Finally, after 8 months, hundreds of hours, applications, interviews and resumes I found a part time job. I started by mid January of 2007 and the job is teaching with a Community College. For now it is only part time but I am extremely happy to be working again. Even though I am working I continue looking for full time work in the fire service or anywhere else I can find.

In the past several years I have been injured in a head on car accident with a drunk driver, had sever health issues related to stress/anxiety that required me to make multiple emergency room trips, lost a child, lost my grandmother on Christmas day, lost a best friend to cancer, lost another friend to a car accident, lost both cars that we owned, my identity, a career, my dreams, ambitions, hope, peace of mind, joy and our home in a matter of days. We have had our power turned off as well as water and cable (not a big loss there) we have had to call on our family or friends several times to drive us to work due to lack of gas money. We have bought food at discount stores (like day old bread) to save any money possible. We have also sacrificed many personnel items like golf clubs, Thomas Kinkaid art collection, football card collection, collector coins passed down by family, and many other valuable items that we had to garage sale or sold on EBay to make money just so we could survive. Our credit has been severely damaged and our faith challenged. In addition to all of that I continue to suffer from several illnesses requiring medications and a lot of doctor visits. We experienced a corrupt real-estate transaction when we tried to refinance our home to get money to help us and instead we lost 32,000 dollars and gained absolutely nothing but more headaches and attorney fees. That problem is currently under investigation with the DRE. We also gave up our dream to move to Colorado, a new house, a great new job doing what I love, and having the ability to help my parents who are retired and on a fixed income and were also counting/depending on moving. My wife and I are hanging on by a thread and are tired, stressed, frustrated, deeply depressed, angry, and confused. We really don’t want to lose the one thing we have left, our home.

I totally and completely understand that this is not anyone else’s problem and that no one is responsible for helping us in any way, however, I hope that someone can find it in their hearts to help my family anyway possible. This is our problem and I take my commitment that I made to my family very serious and we continue to do all we can to make things right again. We really don’t want to lose our house and would like to get back on track. I refuse to walk away without trying to do everything in my power first. I don’t want a short sale or foreclosure, this does nothing for our mortgage company or my family to solve the problem and in the end we all lose. I am confident that there is an answer to all of these problems and that they can be solved. Again, I understand no one owes us anything and we very well may lose everything we have if that is Gods will, I just ask that if there is any way possible that anyone else may be aware of, please, help us help our selves so we can get back on our feet, please let me know. Please help us if you can in any way. Don’t forget, we definitely can use and would be grateful for your prayers.

Please know and understand this; we have tried everything in our knowledge and power to fix the problem and we have asked for help from our family, friends, church and other sphere of influences. They have been great emotional support but most were unable to help other than that. I have written to Governor Arnold Schwartsanigger, Congress representatives Barbara Boxer and Jerry Lewis. I spoke with radio stations asking to share my story to educate others, and I might have the Wall Street Journal writing a story on our situation (waiting for confirmation). I have called or emailed hundreds of churches for prayers and help, called other family members out of state, friends and even complete strangers looking for help, ideas or any kind of work opportunities they may know of. I don’t know if there are any true heroes left in this world but I am calling 911 to my fellow country members during this major life changing crisis and I hope someone is going to respond. Please understand that I am a father and I love my family very much and I don’t want to see them in pain or in fear anymore, it just destroys me inside to see them suffer. I have tried everything I can to stop, save or change our situation to no avail. I wish I did not have to write this letter but it’s all I have left. I know at some point this will end and we will be better, smarter, humbled, joyful, peaceful, and more grateful for our lives and for the lives of others around us. I believe and hope that I can someday use this experience to help others that are struggling or have felt all alone with nowhere to run.

As stated earlier in this letter I am now working and my wife starts working the first of April. We are confident that we can get back on our feet and are working hard to get our lives back on track. We are slowly getting there but it may be too late. Please understand that I have had to steal change from my two year old daughters little piggy bank just so I have gas to get to work. My sweet daughter told me that it is ok because she loves me. To give you an idea we have lost over 100,000 dollars this past year to year and half from these multiple problems, but we are not going to give up we are constantly praying and we are resilient, confident, humble and hard working and we are committed to make this unfortunate situation right again. We will try to do all we can to make this work and pray you can help us. I thank you so much for your time and consideration in regards to this matter.

Praise the Lord,
I am Julius from Kenya and my wife Judith and I had a
bitter disagreement of which she ran away. My efforts
to bring her back have been enormous but with quite
very little success (thanks to earlier prayers).
Truly speaking since she left my five years
daughter Monica on October 24th 2006 we only saw her once.
She came but was quite brief with us and did some
house chores. I tried getting in touch with her where
her stepmother Everlyne had taken her for a house maid
job. At times when I talk to her (my wife Judith) she
is positive but at times she only gives me insults. I
am getting worked up and I lost my job due to my family issue. My attempts to talk to her
well have failed and my daughter has developed lots of
stress and at times urinates every ten minutes.
On the 1st of January I tried talking to her via the
phone and for reasons not clear to me she insulted me
terribly. My daughter too tried talking with her over
the phone. I got so worked up that I called her boss
hoping to make things better and this must have made
her (my wife judith) more mad but I did it in good
faith and out of desperation. . Her boss (Mama Hamza
- meaning mother to Hamza as one of her children is
called hamza , Mama Hamza is a Somali who is a
Muslim.) listened to me and agreed that I may visit
her the following day together with my daughter
Monica. The following day together with one of my
wife’s cousin I went but all got worse. We were not
allowed to go past the main gate and the security
people informed us that we are not supposed to step at
the territory. From a distant we saw her (my wife
Judith) sweep and she waved to her cousin, I also
lifted my daughter who saw her. Her boss did not
receive any of my calls anymore and as I write this,
things are quite bad for me. My wife is quite stubborn
and uncooperative but she is forgetting the five plus
years we have been together and the pain our daughter
is going through. Please pray for the change of her
stubborn heart. I am ready to forgive her fully and
unconditionally only that my system is currently too
weak due to the suffering I have been through since
she left, Schools have openened and our
daughter has not yet reported due to her absence. I am
also currently weak and look sickly . Please join
with me for the praying of her quick return.

I'm a 34-year-old woman who lives in Hungary.I have 2 children (Peter 9yrs and Nora 2 and half months old).I got married with a man called Lajos this year in church.I had a previous marriage but my first husband left us for a younger woman when my son was 5.My new husband doesn't like my son (9yrs)and he can't live in a family.He was 37 when he married me.This summer he used to spend his time with me only then when my son was at the grandparents'.When I was pregnant he made me cry a lot,he was cruel with me,he left me alone and used to sleep in his house or at his mother's flat.He said he couldn't live in a family and needed freedom and my son is not his son so he did not have to look after him or bring him up.
This September our baby was 5 days old when he left us.Now he wants to find a woman who has no children.Maybe he loves another woman.He likes Nora but he visits her very very rarely.I love him and I want him to come back.I pray for him every day.Please help us and pray for Lajos to be a good father and husband.Please pray for me and my children,too.Thank you very much for your help.

Thank you for agreeing with me in prayer for our upcoming special event that is open to the public. We have sent out press releases for the first time regarding this quarterly event and we have walked neighborhoods surrounding the venue passing out invitations and praying. We are expecting 100-200 people, which is a lot for us. We are a network of small fellowships (average of 10 folks at our meetings)- this event is to bless our community. Our main concern in prayer for the souls the Lord Jesus will send to this event. We are believing for many salvations, healings and restoration of lives.

Since we planned the Glory Explosion illness has hit everyone on the team. Prayers for our strength in the Lord would be very welcome as well.

I didn't know that this website existed. I was searching within Google for something else. When I found this prayer request, and the request was concerning me, it obviously caught my attention.

As I read the prayer, my eyes were filled with tears ... tears of joy. You must understand that if anyone does NOT deserve the love of our Heavenly Father, it would be me. Yet, in His love He has blessed me with a brother and his name is Dennis Overlien.

Yes, I give thanks for the most obvious ... the price paid by Christ Jesus on the cross for our salvation; however, I also thank Him for giving me a brother who would pray for me without my knowing it. I also thank Him for so many others that were praying for me as I walked thru this valley in my life.

My name is Joshua. I live in India. I am medical transcriptionist by profession.

I have been putting off a decision to join christian ministry, because I find it hard. I feel no would listen to what I have to say. I feel it won't make any difference to The Church if I preach, etc.

But, Jesus does not seem to agree with my opinions or ideas. He has been after me since I have been in high school. I have joined a bible college, but at the earliest opportunity came out of it and reasoned that if God wanted me to do his work, he would not have caused difficulties for me. After that I joined a medical transcription company and was happy with my job.

God seems to be after me. I am not a righteous person or a devotee of any sort. I believe in him, but I am not very religious. I frown upon many of the church activities as frivolous. I do not see how I can fit into the role of a christian minister.

I am finding it difficult to do my work of late with out any reason for me to do so. So, I went to Sister who is ministry to pray for me. She prayed and gave me Isaiah 49: 8-9 verses to read. They seem to indicate that God wants me to be in ministry.

I finally decided to do whatever God wants me to do. I don't know how. I don't where. I don't when.

I found about your site while browsing the net.

Please pray for me and please somebody give me some advice as to how to begin and where to begin and when to begin.

I quit my job. And I am waiting for any opportunity to come my way. Please...........................

Firstly, please pray for that my mother was cheated by Mr. Kwong, Mr Ho, Hin Chai and Anna the year before, she went to a company and worked as an Office assistant, but they cheated my mother, and compelled my mother to give her money out to them(they cheated my mother that the money was used for investment, and the investment was failured), and went away, thank God for that the policemen arrested Mr. Kwong now, but the Mr. Ho , Hin Chai and Anna were still not arrested, please pray for that God can help the policemen in the investigation, and find the evidence to accuse the Mr. Kwong and his helper in the judiciary court, thank God for that the policemen sent us several letters till now about that the investigation is in the progressing, please pray for that God can move their heart, Mr. Kwong , Mr. Ho, Hin Chai and Anna will regret about that they cheated my mother, and they can have pity on my mother , and return the money back to my mother , thank you.

I have been called of God to reach out with the Gospel to a community in the tea estates of the highlands of Kenya (my country in the continent of Africa).The work is positive and many tea farm labourours are coming to the Lord.However, the work has certain basic needs which I request that God will open a door for them to be met even as this work continues to take root in this humble community.

My heart's desire is that God leads the hearts of some saints to lend a hand in standing with me in this work and have the needs met.I am ministering among people who are in need economically and will actually be able to support this work as God turns their captivities.For now I pray for strategic partners who can hold my hands in having the ministry needs met.

I am not in any way looking for how to feed my family or have my personal needs met.No,God's work is paramount and it is urgent to our community here because many are perishing in immorality and idol worship.Aids is killing my people here and my heart is heavily burdened by this divine call.May God have mercy and touch some people to save my people.

The various urgent needs are;
1. Tent.
2. Seats(chairs)
3. Outreach sound system.

God has helped me to establish numerically growing church but we lack a proper roof over our head yet this place has alot of rains most hours of the day as it is the coldest part of this country.This is why we need a tent and chairs urgently.So pray for me please.

My husband needs a job very badly. I have been the main provider for my family since we got married. We have been married for 12 years. I am 60 years old and need to work just part-time or retire so we can do more ministry work. We are both ordained and want to do wedding ministry and Biblical counseling. We are both very active in our home church and I would like to be able to be freer to do more things in the church. Our income is very tight but we do tithe. We really need a major financial miracle. I have requested Prayers in the past few weeks for My Dear Beloved Rob who walked out on Nick and I Feb 20th, to move in with Donna who he met on a fetish sex line on the internet. I have requested Prayers to Bring Rob home and leave his deviant behavior with Donna. He has not come home. However, I have returned to Our Dear Lord Jesus. Rob's leaving was a true Blessing. Although the situation was very devastating my mind was opened and I know what I as a child of God needed to do before My Dear Beloved could begin his journey back to Nick and I. I needed to Put God first in my life. Today was the first day since 1999 that I went to church. Praise God...it was so wonderful and the Pastor is incredible...Rob broke my heart but God saved my soul...Thank you!

I continue to Pray that Rob will turn from his un Godly life with Donna and Return to Nick and I; but I believe Nick and I must reconnect solidly with Jesus before we as a family, can deal with Rob's home coming. Nick tells me he had a dream about Rob and that Rob told him he will never come back here...when I asked Nick did Rob say why he wouldn't come back...he stated that Rob said because he didn't like it here. Hearing Nick say this hurt my heart...because during this past week I asked God to Please if you want me to just get on with my life tell me and I will move on I won't continue to believe that Rob is coming home. On Tuesday I received a letter from Rejoice Ministries and the first thing I pulled out of the envelope said to "STAND!" Just...STAND! The next thing I pulled out of the envelope said to "BELIEVE!" I Believe this is truly God answering what I had asked of him.

My Prayer request to you is for My Son Nick! Nick is 20 and he didn't go to church with me today and says he can not. Nick is into wickin and doesn't want to go to a church...Rob's walking out in Feb and his young cousin (19) who died April 8th, left Nick looking for his spirituality through false means...God has a lot of work to do with our family...if you could Please join me...and agree with me in Reverent Prayer for the two men and myself to find our way back through the evil that has griped our family in the Name of Jesus by his Authority we can over come this unseen evil and be restored whole once again! In the Name of Jesus Christ...AMEN!

We have here in Finland a spiritual camp (09-11.06.2006). To the camp comes people who are alcoholics or drug addicts. We hope, that you praying that Jesus saves, heals and frees them. And that all will go well.

Pray that I may overcome jealousy. I am often tempted with jealousy and a sense of inadequacy. I am a believer but have struggled with this off and on throughout my life.

Please pray for me as I go through a tough time of being at school not being with my best friend Emily who is on the other side of Michigan. She is recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. I myself have 8 months clean and sober. Pray that God grants me with acceptance that I can't get in contact with her since her mom's phone is broken right now, and that God continues to give her strength to stay clean and sober and strength to not go back out. Also pray that God gives me the perserverance to stay strong in this tough time. Pray also that if it his will for us to be together, that it be done. Also pray that she is here for my graduation in July. Also pray that God strengthens our friendship

Pray for God to perform a miracle in my marriage. It couldn’t be any more broken than what it is. My husband is living with the other woman and not even thinking about coming home. Were in the process of divorce. Pray that the divorce doesn’t happen. I need a miracle, I need a breakthrough. Pray for my husbands salvation.

Please pray for the Lord to restore my marriage to Oswald. Please pray for the Lord to restore communication between us as there is none now. Please pray for the Lord to remove all anger, bitterness, pride and shame from Oswald. Please pray for the Lord to end our separation, and to show me what if anything I need to do to end this separation. Please pray for the Lord to give us both direction. Please pray for the Lord to convict Oswald of wrong doing and to give him no peace about the separation. Pray that God would show me why He is not answering my prayers. I have a job interview to become a paid Staff Chaplain at an inner city health center and low income campus. I would be the only paid chaplain with volunteers to help me. I am a volunteer chaplian right now in several places and know it is just as much a calling as paid ministry.

I am also in the credentialing process with the CPSP (College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy) and have a committee meeting to present my theology and biography.

Pray for both of these as I continue moving forward.
