Winning new souls. On a Friday Fasting and prayer meeting a servant maid working in a orthodox Hindu family came to our church searching for her son who is very much interested in church activities. On seeing a lady peeping in My wife Shylaja asked her to stay back and listen. Immediately she said I should not visit places like yours and sit, as I am possessed with a God (demon) and it will not allow me. My wife told her just listen to the word of God Jesus Christ the savior of the World. She started laughing and she could not able to sit peacefully and started rolling down. My wife could not able stop her rolling as the strength of the woman is more that of my wife. When we prayed for her with lots of struggle the devil went out. Next morning she came and said she had a good sleep for the first time and she was able to her food (she was not able to take food). Then she explained how she has been thrown out of the Hindu orthodox family where she was working. All the gifts that family has given for a festival namely Pongal (Harvest festival in Tamilnadu called as pongal ) has forcibly taken from her and asked her to collect the salary on First of next month. She has been all along been paid a mere Rs.500/= per month i.e. $ 20.( Just about 20 Dollars. ) She has to work from morning 6 A.M. to Evening P.M. that is for fourteen long hours it is just $20 for a month with no leave. While she was walking back home a woman from next apartment called her and asked her to work from the next day. They have said that you can leave for home at 3 PM and whenever there is prayer meeting we will allow you for that. She can take food from their house for her children. and the Salary is fixed at Rs.800/= that is about 60% more that what she was paid for the last three long years. For the past thirteen days she is working in a new place.
Why she has thrown out of job? Just for attending a Christen fasting and prayer meeting. What is the ultimate result ? God has provided her a New Job with less working hours and 60% increase in her salary. This miracle she has told as a witness in a cottage prayer meeting also. We are planting churches in rural areas for the poor and needy people. we are conducting Free Medical Camps and thousands of people are getting benefitted. We are Teaching the people anout health and hyeigne.
WE are trying to teach the Gypsy community people the hygiene and cleanliness. They also have started attending prayer meetings. Normally they used to have their own crude country medicines. now we are making them to use the medicines supplied by us. The basic problem and the sad thing is they are used to check the dustbin for waste materials including food and using it for their livelihood, well they now are trying to dress up like us leaving their traditional dress at the time of attending the Church Service. We have identified four places this year for church planting Mannivakkam, Playanoor, and Kancheepuram,Kannaki Nager. Though this involves more money we are sure that God will provide us as in all this areas we are conducting the churches in rented houses and all of them are new converts from Idol worshiping religion. Please continuously pray for these new converts as they are facing lots of problems from their relatives. They used to disown them by not allowing to mingle with them as well as not allowing them to take even water from public wells. Castism is prevalent and they used to claim their authority.These people are called the untouchables. We want to change the mentality of the people and they are very adamant and dominant Idol worshipers. We need your prayer protection. please pray for our ministry.We are ready to join with you and work on your behalf in India. We are prepared arrange crusades also.
Creating awareness about aids the killer disceaes. And about the prevention. (Our Tamilnadu Stands First in this Aids Patients and it is going on increasing) We have to reach more people.
