Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I ask you to pray in the Name of Jesus:
• For His vision to me to proclaim the Gospel and to build a safe haven and place of rest for troubled persons here in my home. I so need to renew my commitment.
• For my home that building works to enlarge it will finally complete. (After three months as a building site with numerous things going wrong). Satan shall not sap our strength or our determination.
• For Scot the carpenter who has misappropriated $8,750 set aside for our new kitchen works. I reject Satan’s influence and proclaim his evil has no place here. Satan has lost – Christ has the Victory! Jesus has shown me that it is not the money as Our Lord will provide. This man has a drink and many other afflictions. I thank God that he has shown me that this is my brother and a lost soul floundering in the wilderness. I forgive him as I have been forgiven. I pray that he finds the saving grace of Jesus and that he lives a life confronting sin. May our God bring His light into Scot’s life and turn him from deception and crime to a life worth living.
• For my fourth son Dominic, continuing his battle against aggressive lymphoma cancer and for all that Jesus has done and is doing in my beloved son’s life.
• For my father Joe recently diagnosed with Melanoma cancer. Our Father has given him 93 years and he is still not ready to find God. Give me the strength to witness again to His saving love.
• For my father in law Charlie, recently rushed to hospital with breathing problems.
• For my wife Christine that she has the strength to cope with her blind mother who has gone into dementia whilst her father is in hospital. Jesus loves us and will not allow more than we can bear.
• For our close neighbour’s family the Moffatts after their mother was blown up in the London bombing on 7th July. I do not understand Father. Help me.
• For my brother in law Peter and first son Scott, both Chefs and injured by iron bars wielded by men breaking into their business van. May their injuries heal and may their hearts not hold any bitterness such as to find forgiveness.
• For me as my health has not been good recently. Pray with me that I may continue doing His will and that I might learn to follow His path with a little less haste, keeping my mind focused.
• God has sent us two Bichon Frise dogs rescued from destruction. Their love and affection knows no bounds and laughter has returned, just at a time when we found ourselves like Job with trial and tribulation. Our God is a faithful and loving God! I give thanks for Kimberley and Trudy and that they find peace and love in our home.

I praise our Saviour Jesus Christ for His unbounded love to me and for sending me hope and a shining light to lighten up my darkness. I thank You Holy Father that you draw me near to you. I lift up to You all my problems and difficulties that we have encountered in this last month and ask that you give me understanding and direction. I am reminded that my light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for me a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. For His mercy is never ending. Amen
