Dearly Beloved Bro.Juan, Although we have never met I am with you in this situation. I too, understand the deep pain of the dissolution of vows. I have also seen some of my closest friends forced to walk this hurting lonely road, Yet you are not alone. Their pain re-awaking memories of some long forgotten hurts that at the time seemed endless,Yet now, have made me stronger then I use to be.I realize as I'm writing this that these words may not be appropiate right now. It may even sound as if I do not believe in a wonder working God. But, Oh brother I do of a truth rely on this fact, that our Lord is wonderously marvelous in deeds, especially to His children. And that He will only give you the very best that there is in the end of all this, that now seems so dark with death. As a fellow pastor wrote you-This is a journey,a process that you must go through the grieving. It seems like someone died doesn't it beloved,as though nothing may be the same again....I know. I realize this may not seem to be helping you, but I am praying for you as I'm typing this because what I have to say next may seem off-track.If our Lord's plan for you is to reignite the eventual reconciliation of your ex-wife or wife (present status?),are you ready for the 'New THINGS' due to the death of the old? What do I mean you may be thinking? I mean when something is destroyed as in a divorce, there will come a time when we go through the whose fault was it. We need by the Lord Grace to look at things like old habits or ways of listening or how we spoke to each other-that usually has to be looked at eventually you know, especially if there is a reuniting or remarriage some day. I have had to really get a handle on this seeing I'm remarried again, different woman(a Gift) but the same thing applies.Even if your spouse left you as mine did the Lord informed me that His interest was in me too. I had to look at things, every thing through His eyes....and bless me He was and still is faithful, so that I am doing better now. Not just in marriage but with Him frist of all. If and God forbid,if it ever happened again I'm with the Lord because He said He's with me! So beloved, are you getting ready for NEW EXCITING THINGS. May I pray for you my brother.... Our Holy Father, proving your ever present love with us by the lonely death of Your Son our Saviour and Lord. You forever demonstrated how much we mean to You. We who have received your engagement are ever longing to be united with you,for that is why You created us to love others, So that we can bask in your present love for us. And, that is why I suppose we hurt so deeply when love is severed. Lord Jesus embraced now Your beloved Juan and encourage him by the All-Comforting Spirit, reminding Juan that You are his companion and freind- In Your Wonderously Loving Presence Lord, Amen. In Him Alone- Brother Rev. Terry
