Funny you should mention Elliott Smith. I believe it was one of his songs I heard while in the backseat of the car of a young couple that gave me a lift over the Manhattan Bridge the other day. The song was pretty good. Anyway, another friend tells me that this dude Elliott committed suicide by slashing his own throat. Same guy?
