My post in the shed in response to HSH and Bg's dust up was an attempt to convey...in a slightly less inflammatory form I hope...HSH's complaint to Bg that wasn't very tactfully stated. I didn't want Harry's post...in all its force...left out there without some oblique explanation. Harry has emailed me a couple times in the last few weeks in regard to Bg...because he's very much got a bad taste in his mouth due to past interactions with Bg. I think Harry stated things poorly...and was taking an opportunity to hit back at Bg when he's down...but it stems from past dust ups that I also remember Bg being fairly nasty in regard to Harry.

Harry pinged me after I wished Bg luck in the Jungle...he said he was having a hard time feeling sorry due to past skirmishes. He related some other off-board talks with regulars who felt similarly (and who were conspicuously absent from the well-wishing thread) and related his...ummm...extreme frustration with Bg (and Dix btw). I really don't take Dix's invective very seriously and tend to tune him out...but I admit that Bg has a certain ability to be quite supercilious and condescending that still manages to get under my skin.

I guess all I'm saying is...as with Bg, Dix and other bombthrowers (god knows who!)...don't get too hard on Harry and write him off.

btw...I'm off on a 6am flight for a Schaeffer family reunion etc in Hilton Head Island. Wish me luck. My family, my parents, my sister's family and my brother and his wife. Yikes. Especially after the screaming match between Laura and my mom when we visited at the end of May...kinda too late to back out that late date. All in the same house. Luckily it is a good size house. But. Together. Daily. Hmmmmm...how drunk will I need to be???
