with details matey, as I've been delayed coz we're looking to buy a new house on the other side of London, and have been looking at properties!

What time of year were you thinking of coming over btw? It obviously has some bearing on what you get upto and availability of places. For example Cornwall is incredibly popular in the Summer months and prices are steep. Another example might be the Highlands where you can visit all year round but must be very very careful of midges. I kid you not. These mofos are the curse of the Highlands and eat the unwary tourist alive!! I think they are summer critters too - June through to August. So probably best time to visit is in Spring, unless you're a winter person?
