Have to say I liked the area around and including the Park best when I visited, what with all the museums there too. But then I was based up that end of Manhattan and didn't really have any time to do anything other than the most touristy bits elsewhere.

I'm generally against keeping animals in cages, I do find it very sad and depressing, unless they are there because they are endangered species.
