In fact, I think it may be the suckiest of suck.

Even as a nurse, this news never fails to devastate me, most especially so in this case. Mere words cannot express how sorry I am Tony, (although chambo did one helluva job below), both for you and your lovely mother.

The only words I can offer are that this can be beat. I've seen it. It just makes her path to living to 100 and dying peacefully in her sleep a little bumpy for awhile.

It would obviously be easier to get all at once, and be SURE it was got, if it came in the usual nice little blobbly form. Spread out thin, here and there, makes it more of a challenge but not an impossible one. Attitude plays a big part in treatment, recovery and lifespan.

The more fight she has in her, the more wrong she's going to prove the docs.

Chin up, Mr Baloney. We're here for you.
