got your attention? good -- I hear that Lawshark slept with his eighty year old neighbor and in return those tall trees were cut down. Did I mention that the 80-yr-old's name is Bruce? But seriously folks...

A couple that Toni and I have gotten very close to in our neighborhood -- by virtue of their having two kids at precisely the same time as we did -- are grappling with separation and trust and the future, blah, blah, blah -- based on the revelation that he was nabbed cheating on her -- on two separate occasions. But here's the juicy thing -- she found out about it when the husband of the last woman he slept with mailed her an envelope with evidence of the affair. From what Toni was told by her friend, the envelope primarily contained a thick stack of IM's in which her husband described -- in excruciating detail - the various sexual acts he performed on the other guy's wife. While not spelled out for me, the only plausible assumption is that the other guy made him do it with the threat of exposing the whole thing (both to our friend's wife and possibly to his employers since they both work at the same company). I'm in shock in two respects -- first, I can't imagine how humilating it would be to be forced to describe what you did to the guy's wife. Second, I can't imagine how twisted the other guy must be to actually want to hear about the services that were rendered to his wife in detail - and then of course to print it out and mail it. Just some f-cked up sh-t right there.

whaddya think? Does it sound positively freaky to you too or is my freaked-outedness more a function of knowing half of the major players involved?
