We currently live in Hamlet, yes it is as small as it sounds. You'll find Hamlet along the SC border. Charlotte is north west of us by 3 counties. I'm not sure where Seneca is, but my sister will be living near Myrtle Beach in 2 months when she gets married.

We actually have my whole husbands family in a small town called Westminster SC, it is about 2 hours north of Atlanta. Just on the border of GA. We will be visiting a couple of times a year and would love to meet you and your family if you are close at all. Guess I will have to bust out the map. (smile)

Hey, that would be great! We live in Hamlet,NC a little South east of Charlotte. That sound like a two hour drive, but I'll have to check the map. Let me know when you plan to come and I'll see what we can work out.

I live in Fuquay-Varina a little town right outside Raleigh. I'm about 15 min from the temple. I've lived in this area my whole life.

I haven't posted in a while but plan on giving everyone an update in a few days.

for a town. My mom did all kinds of work to help pay the bills and we would travel all over NC and put up signs in Meat depts of grocery stores. I would sit and read all the names on the maps, and believe me, NC has come up with some interesting names. (Toast, Fork, Whynot, Lizard Lick [I'm not kidding], to name a few)

Do you know what Fuquay-Varina means? I think it's French. I look forward to hearing from you when you do get a chance to post.
