Subject: WOOO HOOOO!!!! We are going to sell that house after all!!!!

Ok, so closing won't be until nov 10th and a million things could still go wrong.. but I refuse to think of those for a moment and just be happy.

After posting here yesterday, I did get to talk to DH and although he too was upset that the offer was not the verbal quote, he thought and I agreed that we should take the offer. Because even if we have to pay at closing, that is better than the house sitting empty and us paying a mortgage. So we left a message on our agents phone telling her that we would accept the offer and would fax the paper in the morning. Today our agent calls and says that she had already told the buyers agent that we were rejecting the offer, but she would call and say that we changed our mind. I've been a wreck all day and angry at myselft for telling her that it was a no go w/o discussing it with DH. I'm picturing them going to another house and us being still stuck with this one. DH assured me that #1 that probably wouldn't happen so quick and that legally since we had not written a rejection, that the buyers would still be bound by their offer.

My agent just called and said that the buyers are still interested in the house and want to proceed to closing!!!! So unless there is a lender problem, it's settled!!! I know I won't feel totally relieved until the papers are signed, but at least I know I didn't screw it up!

I still royally hate that we have to pay to sell our house, Dang that 2nd mortgage anyway (of course $15K of that was Hannah's adoption and I wouldn't change that).

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Oh and DH was told that he will get some official notice on the job, and that no news could still mean good news. Now if my back would just stop aching.
