Subject: Update on our offer on our rental house

we have still not seen an official offer, but they offered $147K. We have it listed at $149K. The money is fine and although we'd probably only make 2-3K on it, we have no problem accepting that. However, it is as we've feared and they have a house to sell in Texas. They husband is here in Utah and the wife is back there with her family. After their agent talked with ours, they have decided to try and rent the texas home out, and I think are looking at bridge loans as well. We're not sure what to do. If we put it under contract, our realtor says that a lot of agents won't show it anymore because buyers don't like knowing there is competion already. And since wer're paying that mortgage with CCs, we don't really have the time to wait. Our agent is coming to our house tonight to discuss our options. It has been discouraging, but it is better than no offer at all so we're trying to keep our spirits high.

Can you see why I can't sleep recently. In fact, I'm still not feelingw well and no I haven't made it to the dr, but have got 1 1/2 hours before I have to go get the kids from school so am going to try and catch some ZZZZZs.

Have a good day!
L.

that it is not the price, but that we simply can't tie ourselves down while waiting for their house to sell. They are welcome of course to submit it again when their house sells if we don't already have another buyer by then, but we just couldn't take it off the market while waiting.

This sucks and I am so down. Another $1500 on the CC to pay for an empty house. I know we made a good decision, but am still so discouraged.

What a soap opera my life is huh?

And this is one of those times - you are very right not to take it off the market. It is just so hard to see the bigger picture that HF has, while we wait here for time to pan out.
