Are you stuck with this audiologist or can you switch? I know that you don't want to waste any more time, but I would seriously be questioning this person's commitment if not her competence! If you were supposed to have a consultation and approval on the hearing aide, and then she purchased without your approval can you get the insurance company to hold payment? Dealing with the hearing issue is enough of a worry without having to second guess and repeat yourself to the audiologist.

I hope you can get this resolved!

HUGS

Cheryl
