I made some calls today and got two "outpatient" programs that our insurance covers. I am going to give him this information along with the number for NA meetings.I am going to tell him I do not think he can do this on his own and the counselors I spoke with today agree. They also agree that he HAS to want this for himself, not for the marriage to stay together to succede. He needs to:1) want this for himself and 2) take the initiative to call these people and start going for treatment. Without it, I can not trust that he will not smoke and I will always feel threatened by this condition. It is all in his court after this and HIS decision to go for help and get healed or to ignore that it is a problem. I can do no more.
