I got to tell you that my 00 Xterra with the "durasteel" is leaving piles of rust all over my new garage floor and new concrete driveway. At 84,000 and 10.5 years rust is fast taking the truck. The rear liftgate was all rusted around the window at the 5 year mark and was fixed. Now the frame and door bottoms are going. I kept lots of wax on the truck and took good care of it but the last 2 years have been rough on it. It is like a switch was flicked and the rust is coming non stop. It's time to either trade or run it fully into the ground in the next couple of years.
