-The Hood Council has annouced an open forum discussing the Community Memorial Gardens and what residents would like the gardens to look like and provide to the hood. Please check your mail for details on the date and time of the forum.

-The local weather report has said that there is a strong chance of snow arriving in the hood this simdayMonday, just in time for the weekly moves of local residents. Be careful and don't slip while moving boxes or placing decorations outdoors!

-We're looking for a festival or reason to celebrate! Post your suggestions to this thread (suggestions from other hoods appreciated as well)

-Fresh, the local florist shop, has annouced that they have plenty of Christmas trees, ponsiettas, wreaths and miniture trees in stock for the holiday season!
-Herendez Art Gallery has annouced the arrival of Christmas stockings, memorahs, kwanzha candles, garland, lighted reindeer, oversized toy soilders, and other holiday decoration to the local store. Also, custom holiday photos are being sold for $100 each snapshot if done at the shop and $300 a snapshot for snapshots in your home. Collect a great holiday memory!
-Farmer's Market has stocked plenty of holiday turkeys, gooseberry pies and gingerbread houses for the upcoming holiday season.
-Snips & Tucks is hosting a special holiday sale this simweek, 10% holiday apparel!
-The Toy Shoppe is here for all your holiday needs and to give Santa a hand with the hottest toys. This simweek there will be a drawing for a free Aqua-Octi-Squirter, the must have toy on every child's list.
