RESIDENT BLOGS

APPLE DUMPLING BALL, Part III
-This simSaturday, the hood will host the Apple Dumpling Ball. All teenagers are invited and tickets are $50 each. Formal attire required-dates are not required. The theme is Harvest Moon. Photographs will be $15 each. Volunteers for chaperones are still needed. The entire evening will be dedicated to the three teens that lost thier life in the school bus accident.

SCHOOL BUS TRAGEDY
-Three teenagers lost thier life in an accident when thier school bus slid off the road during a rain storm and collided with a tree. The teens were all siblings an investigation is underway to determine if the driver was intoxicated. No other sims were on the bus at the time as it was making its last stop.

FOOD EXPO, PART I
-The Food Expo will start this simSunday at Farmer's Market with an opening ceremony. June will focus on Food in the Garden, July will focus on Food in the Kitchen, and August will focus on Food on the Table. The local Food Expo will consist of raffles, lectures, contests and product showcases, not to mention plenty of food. Please stay posted as more details are revealed.

HOOD COUNCIL ELECTION
-Votes will be collected this simFriday for a new Hood Council effective simSunday. Candidates are as follows: President-Ayanna Kent; Financial Director-Sazo Kent, Ka'obi Sweeny; Community Director-Gretta Marsh, Rayne Wilsonoff.

-Tom Grey, 6:35pm, old age. Leaves behind two children (Cassandra and Kate), five grandchildren (Clark, Astaire, Hazel Starr, Marilyn, and Ginger). Memorial service will held on simFriday at the Grey residence.
-Starr Grey, 6:13pm, old age. Noted actress of TS1 fame and TS2 fame. Leaves behind two children (Cassandra and Kate), five grandchildren (Clark, Astaire, Hazel Starr, Marilyn, and Ginger). Memorial service will held on simFriday at the Grey residence.
-Alia Kent, 7:54pm, old age. Actress and former hood council president. Leaves behind two adult children (Ayanna and Ajani) and five grandchildren (Ray, Rebecca, Roy, Fredic and Fiona)
-Geoff Mendenhall, 1:11pm, school bus accident. Survived by parents, Leroy and Elphaba Mendenhall; siblings, Grex and Grigia Mendenhall; and half sister, Gretta Marsh.
