As my husband posted above, I would like to form an Outstanding Leadership Committee (OLC). I don't know if there is anything like this already, please inform me - if there is.

The OLC is being formed solely for the purpose of support and recognition for all our hard-working Mayors and Spokes Sims. (We could even later branch into recognizing our young people for their outstanding leadership.)

I would be the Chairman, and we would have one representative from each SUN Hood, that displays a level of quality leadership themselves. (Resumes are required. Please send them to me at your earliest convenience. simmingtonhills@hotmail.com)

- Each Neighborhood Representative would be responsible for notifying the OLC of their current or newly-elected Mayor/Spokes Sim. A congratulatory email would be sent, along with 'possibly a shareable gift' (We'd have to discuss having someone donate a gift that can be sent out by email, amongst us). A modest cash donation from the OLC would also be sent for use in their Administration.

- I would also like to set up an annual "Mayor of the Year" contest.

A voting poll could be set up on each SUN hood's site. (??) Where no one could see the results, but the Rep.
And Sims can vote for their own Mayor/Spokes Sim, or if they want...they can go to another hood's site, and vote for their Mayor/Spokes Sim. ((smiles)) (?? Up for discussion.)

Local votes would be tallied by each Neighborhood Rep. and then sent to the OLC for the final cumulative tally.

At a designated time, we would like a hosting Neighborhood, one we'd vote on, to sponsor the Mayor of the Year Ball, a spectacular formal event, where a trophy and cash prize would be given to the winner, who would be announced there. All of the Mayors/Spokes Sims would travel to that neighborhood for the evenings' event.

We'd also like to set up a press release on the day after, with a popular, premier magazine in SimNation. To offer the front cover picture and a full-page interview with the Mayor of the Year. (We can discuss which magazine would be willing to do this for us.)

Each SUN Hood would be asked to present news of this magazine's issue on their site, for complete famous coverage of the event! We know how publicity goes...everyone must be talking about it, for it to be news! Right?

--A title of this caliber, "Mayor of the Year", would accompany this Mayor/Spokes Sim for the rest of their lives, and leave a lasting legacy on their families, and their communities.

(I have to mention here that all banking for cash prizes and donations, would be done by SimCity Bank in Simmington Hills, and that the bank as well as myself, are totally UNBIASED on the voting process that would be held in the future.

Unless Simmington Hills' Mayor wins, then another bank would have to step in and donate the cash prize. As you may know, Simmington Hills owns SimCity Bank.)

Any other thoughts or ideas would be open for discussion as well, once the Reps are chosen. We encourage SUN Neighborhoods to send in more than one resume, but only one Rep from each hood, will be chosen.

Thanks so much for your time.
