Sorry, this is old news by now, but I wanted to announce that our neighborhood has started a daily (or semi-daily, depending on how much news there is) online newspaper to announce the big happenings in our hood. It can be found on the news section of our website, or by direct link here . . . http://www.freespaces.com/arrendale/eden/news.html

DEATHS
In recent days there has been one death. Kane First died of old age on local simday 86. Kane had the distinction of being the first sim born in our neighborhood. Kane was the son of the late Adam and Eva First. He is survived by his wife, Marylena, daughter Enid, son Seth, and sister April Artist.

BIRTHS
The population is growing! Three sims were born in recent days. We welcome to the hood. . .
-Robin Young, daughter of Calvin and Brooke Young, granddaughter of Meadow Thayer and Orlando Centowski,
-Gregory Harris, son of Ravi and Marsha (Bruenig) Harris
-Chase Platz, son of Chandler and Bethany Platz, grandson of Tristan and Marisa Artist

MARRIAGES
-Meadow Thayer and Orlando Centowski were married on simday 85 after living together for several years and raising 6 children together.
-Bethany Artist and Chandler Platz, both recent college graduates were also married on simday 85.

ENGAGEMENTS
-Claudia Cavanaugh (an actress for Arrendale Heights) and Skylar Baity (baseball MVP) announce their engagement.

UNIVERSITY
-Trevor Artist has graduated from University with a degree in Philosophy and has returned to the hood on day 86.
-Suzanna Carr has left for University. We all wish Suzanna the best of luck!

RELOCATING
Jonathan Rossi, former university professor has moved out of the main hood and has relocated downtown. The Rossi household will be taken off the neighborhood register.

OTHER NEWS
The hood council regrets to announce that our hood will not be signing the business deal at this time. Though they see the benefits for the community it has been determined that our infrastructure lacks the resources for any further expansion for now or for the foreseeable future.
