When one of our Sims moved to New Eden, we sent them a recent photograph via email and they were able to recreate her in the CAS Clinic. That's how we did it then, it might work now or it might not but we think it might be one of the safest ways to travel.
As a side note, I haven't checked the hood's email for a few days but I just received the message you sent to us. To answer the question you asked then, we are currently working on a new website but it's not finished yet. If you like I can let you know when it is.
