Hi everyone,
I have a problem and I need a bit of advice.
I rescued a horse a month ago from around the Dubbo area NSW;he was in really bad condition, very boney, bite and kick marks all over him as well as being cover all over with mosquitoe bits,he was badly infested with lice (which I treated and are now gone) and he hadn't been wormed for quite a while (he had rubbed the top of his tail hairless and red raw )he has now been wormed (twice).
The problem is he hasn't put much weight on at all; his getting feed twice a day on a complete horse mix (about 6 scoops a day) and 2 biscuits of good quality lucerne hay a day.He isn't being ridden much about once or twice a week at a walk. Is there anything else I can do to get him back in condition. aaahe is a 15hh TB gelding.
