I agree with the questions about teeth age ect as they are all things to consider. you need to be careful of how much protein you are feeding him as it can come straight out the other end. He will need a lot of bulk like good quality meadow hay and chaff I know it seems he is not improving but dont panic at this stage as it can take awhile for the body to start healing and gain weight. Also if you are looking at him all the time you wont notice the gain in little areas. I used to rug the skinny ones i got in summer with a light rug and not take it off for a week so then I could really notice the difference. I have worked with many skinny thoroughbreds in my life and feel its my life job as they keep finding me! Dont give up on what your doing just keep loving and caring for him.
