Subject: blaenau gwent rows

I hve just been looking at the photos of top row Blaenua gwent rows,do all the rows look like this now?I have never been back to the rows since my Granparents past away in the late 1950s I lived with them in number 44 just across from what was then rees Bakery (the glyn was granchas watering hole)and up untill now I always thought of Blaenua gwent rows as the was when I lived there The Coal House faced onto the pavement,the wash house faced the road and only had cold running water and a bosh. the toilet was out side (not a flush toilet) and a big garden out the back I must say the rows look very smart now.I have promised myself that later on this year I will make a sentimental journey to Abertillery to see how it has changed.
