The rail link to Ebbw Vale is supposed to be opening in the spring of 2007, don't think we shall ever see phase two reaching Abertillery.

Still wondering what happened to the proposed regeneration plans un-veiled down the library in October 2002 in which the views of residents traders and local businesses were being sought.

BGCBC did say that more inward investment would be needed before all the plans materialise, failed to mention how much would be actually spent on Ebbw Vale and not Abertillery or how much would be wasted.
