I agree entirely with Carolyn.
Every town and city in the UK has good points and bad points and to simply label Blaenau Gwent as one of the worst places to live is irresponsible
How are we the people of Blaenau Gwent expected to have pride in our area and in ourselves, if the media insists on focusing on our negative points? Our area is beautiful and has a lot to offer.
We have a state of the art sports centre, beautiful walks, (just take a look at the Lakes area), and the warmest caring people you could wish to meet.
Crime is no better or worse than many valley towns; and we can at least now see some new employment coming into our area.
I for one am not ashamed to live in Blaenau Gwent.
