Isn`t it strange that people like Ian fight tooth and nail to oppose a new Pub or Club that will sell cheap booze but turns a blind eye to a Pound shop or the Thursday Market! also do these people still shop in the local Spar or Co-Ops or do they search for bargains in Tesco`s and Asdas!

- Abertillery would benefit from a large chain pub opening up in the town - it would raise the standardsof all the others in the town - before you all start moaning - just think what it would be like to eat in a pub in Abertillery on a saturday night or in fact any night!       - I never have problems parking in Abertillery??? we have a big multi storey plus numerous other parking spaces around town??? If you cannot park use public transport then! Recent findings have shown that people now spend more of their income on Entertainment than whitegoods now so surley increasing the number of pubs and clubs is good inwards investment (NT) -- B Thomas, 12:12:38 01/25/06 Wed
