Subject: Tracing a work colleague

I live in Sweden. Recently I passed through Abertillery, hoping to find a work colleague I knew more than thirty years ago.

Her name is Pauleen. I cannot recall the surname. She lived with her mother when not working for Doctor Barnardos homes. She lived in one of the bottom roads in Abertillery because when I once visited I remember the view from the front window, was just the opposite valley side.

Pauleen worked at a Barnardo home in Aberdare (Glandare House)but when this was shut down she worked in another home in Cowbridge Road East in Cardiff where I met her, working with her for six months . A small quiet person she would probably be in her seventies now.

Stopping with my wife and daughter a few weeks ago in the town, one person did think they knew of her and that she had only recently moved away.

If anyone can shed some light on this person I would be most grateful.
