Hi Vera, I didn't actually live in Queen St myself, no, but my grandfather Ernie Nixey did at no. 33. I was born in St James Hosp, Tredegar, but my family were living in Bryngwyn Rd, six Bells at that time (1965). Mum used to work in the shop there selling sweets at no. 32. Some may well remember her as she had extremely bad eyesight, in fact I'm pretty sure by the time I was born she had totally lost her sight.
