What do preople think abvout the possibility of Peter Law rejoining the Labour Party? My view is that it would be wrong simoply becasue he stood as an independent and so may have attracted votes from people who would NOT have supported Labour. - Re:Sorry, deleted the previous line! I watched a tv program last week, during which they interviewed the local Labour rep, Peter Law and Peter Hain. There was some mention of Peter Law's reasons for standing as being more to do with his ego than his politics, I have no idea, I've never met the man. However, what did sadden me was the arrogance of Peter Hain ... what ever happened to 'a party of the people, for the people'? I'm completely disheartened by the bombastic, prefect-like, attitude of New Labour. For the first time since I've been able to vote, my apathy knows no bounds. Ok, whinge over.
