I knew the Assender family from Arrail St. and went to primary school with Maureen. As the Webmaster indicated, the cemetery at Brynithel is a likely place for burials. A few, that I remember from Arrail and Griffin Streets ,were buried at Cwmtillery or Blaina cemeteries.
