.:.Daughter of Time.:.

Hoping that the name meant something good, she stopped, waiting. She would not invoke any further speech just yet. She knew the parents of this other, and so through them, knew her.

She responded initially with a curt nod, her eyes narrowing as she ran the name through her memory. As before, no bells pealed signaling recognition--the name meant nothing to her. However, the situation called for politeness or, at the very least, civility. And so her head inclined respectfully, the usual gesture when making an acquaintance.

.:Obviously I have no need to supply my own name as you know it already, it's nice to meet you Daughter of Time:. she replied finally, allowing a little of the ice in her tone to melt.

.:As to my homecoming so to speak, why should it hearten you so?:. the grulla pressed, her curiosity forcing her tongue into motion. As it seemed that they would continue with their present conversation, her right forehoof tilted forward to rest comfortably on its edge, the creamy surface interrupted by a peculiar lightning shaped mark, a trait inherited from her sire.
