The word success comes to mind, the successful launching
of Y&R, and later Capitol, which recieved the HIGHEST PREMIERE RATINGS EVER for a soap opera. He tried to save Santa Barbara, but JFP made too much of a mess. One of the greatest things he did at SB was restore the Lockridge family, so history indicates he cares very much about a soaps core families!

Although I'm not so sure the talented John Conboy can
save Guiding Light! Conboy CAN save a failing show, but if the show is already dead, then the only thing he can do is give it a proper burial!
