Interesting stuff CC. I never knew about Shapiro being a buddy of Dano. I like Linda Dano just fine and she seems personable enough. Too bad ABC never went ahead with their new soap within a talk show idea. We know Dano is a good talk show host. She could have anchored that show. Right now it just seems like she doesn't quite fit in on any of the ABC shows.

Seems to me that OLTL in particular did it's best to pick up some AW favorites in an attempt to try to pull those 23 remaining AW fans over. LOL It also seems to me that we no longer have Dorian Lord because of this move. I'm sure they didn't want to pay high salaries to Dano, Slezak AND to Strasser (among others) for essentially three mainstream female characters in that age group. What's a shame here is that Rae Cummings is an insignificant character in the history of OLTL as compared to Dorian. Give me the history and the rivalry with Vikki any day over this horrible Rae Cummings storyline. I couldn't stand her as a do-gooder and now I despise her as Asa's wife and blackmailer yet she isn't a good, fun villain either. Rae truly needs to pay (and not just financially) for her crime. She should be sued and she should be charged with criminal behavior and go to jail because of her fraudulant activities. Vikki lost Ben because of Rae's deceit. To me Rae's deeds are just as bad as the rapists who's crimes are sweetly swept away a la Jack Devereaux and others. Yeah, give me Dorian back! She and Vikki could easily heat up their rivalry over a new man. AW had used up Dano's Felicia and I think ABC's Rae Cummings move has "jumped the shark". Time to dump her and move on. Too bad Marj Dusay is playing Alex on GL, maybe Dano would have done well in that role?
