If I remember correctly, he didn't even start writing the bible for Passions until after leaving DAYS. That interview sounds like he had one idea pre-bible, and a different idea after. Reilly seems to have a lot of creative control, Passions is his show.

"After all, those suits want to drive the price of the show down."

Alice/Mickey/Maggie aren't high salary stars. Marlena and John getting whacked would save them a bundle! :)

"I think Reilly will blow his chance to pull a Bell, and will end up without a job when it's all over with."

He'll still have Passions.

"But with the way daytime recycles it's writers, it probably won't be long until he gets another."

The Fronzie will hire him.
