*I, as well as a friend watching the Emmys, both thought Bob Guza looked like Elton John in those sunglasses. Hahaha. Funny that Michael Bruno said that in the wrapup show.
*Wanted either PC or B&B to get the prize for Best Show(mostly B&B). More power to the half hour shows.
*Susan Flannery speech was superb.
*What an upset! Dr. Phil SO should have won for his show. I like Wayne Brady, but I've only seen 5 seconds of his talk show and I thought it stunk so bad.
*Loved Wayne Brady's opening diddy, not to mention the reaction on Jennifer Finnigan and Ron Moss's faces when he mentioned their storyline in his number. Reminiscent of The Drugs' song "The Bold and the Beautiful."
*Vanessa Marcil and Jordi Vilasuso? Gross! Not to mention I SO wanted Cady McClain, Robin Chistopher or Kelly Monaco to win that category!
*And those damn screaming fans are really taking away from the classiness of the awards, specifically this year since it was the Best Show I've ever seen.
Overall, impressed with the show this year. I hope NBC tries to compete with ABC and gives us the same(and God, NO DICK CLARK PLEASE!).

On other notes, I've ragged GH about the Mob storylines, but I am beginning to "understand" them now, even though I hate two key performers in the storyline(Tamara Braun and Steve Burton, the former is a wannabe, the latter is just too wooden).
And it's about time I see something else OTHER than the Mob. Emily's Breast Cancer story looks promising, I love the teens, particularly Georgie and Dillon(that Lindze Leatherman is a cutie-pie). But here's what I don't understand: When did Maxie get so bitchy, not to mention stupid(first, sleeping with Kyle to get a date for the prom, then putting her transplanted heart in grave danger by taking X. I would be SO pissed if I were Tony Jones). And here is another thing I like about this storyline: They aren't glassing over the fact that teens make stupid decisions about their lifestyle, like drinking. The parents don't condone it, but it's refreshing to see a realistic approach to this storyline. GH is far from smoking, but it's looking to be a long, hot summer!
BTW: Is Dobson an inside tribute/joke to Bridget and Jerome Dobson, Creators of Santa Barbara?
What a surprise to, after seeing the dull, predictable end of All My Children cosmetics war rerun on SoapNet in the middle of the night, that I was only planning on watching One Life to Live for ten minutes Monday and began watching the WHOLE episode?! And it was an episode where I actually cared about Flash! I wonder whether that will be One Life to Live's Emmy Reel this year?
And anyone who reads SOD, please read Carolyn Hinsey's comment about Jessica Morris(Jen, OLTL) in her column this week. Funny, cruel and OH SO true!
And one more comment: Can I PLEASE attend Salem U? Where a teenager can go to school for a year and complete more than 120 hours of credit for graduation? PLEASE? Days is just getting more and more stupid with the reality show, the college situations(damn, I wished my dorm room at UofA was as spacious as Belle and Mimi's), Bo's huntdown, Jack and Jenn's talk show wedding, Phillip as a Marine(which is a disgrace to our very own Armed Forces).....Why don't I just say the whole damn show sucks?
