I had no idea Mike Horton was blackmailed by Stefano DiMera! But then again, I was in the 3rd Grade(I think?) when Jim Reilly took over Days of our Lives.

But I *DO* remember the whole 'rooftop at midnight' thing....the thing I thought was stupid at the time was not whether they would meet on the roof to be together, but how Sami was able to fool Austin into thinking it was midnight. I assume when the clock strikes 12AM, wouldn't everyone in the building yell, scream, countdown or SOMETHING? Even in the boondocks, you can hear people yelling, firing guns in the air or SOMETHING?!

I'm glad you explained what you meant by "horrible execution".

I read Michael Logan's kiss ass piece on Reilly's "awesome 10 hours of programming a week." And he said Reilly's work should be evident by August.....This should be interesting.

My only wish is that the networks would turn the cameras on themselves to give the audience a glimpse of what's going on...I bet that would make for far interesting drama than what's on the screen right now.
