Johnny Depp would be a stellar choice to play Barnabas Collins. I could see the movie happening because studios seem to be looking for franchises they can cash in on. There is definitely plenty of material for a long series of Dark Shadows films.

Any ideas on other casting? I always thought the lady who played Ricardo's mom on Sunset Beach would make a good Julia but I suspect they would go with someone younger.
