That NBC Premiered Bridget and Jerome Dobson's soap, Santa Barbara. I was about two months old when NBC Premiered this crown gem. Who would have thought that every other well established soap opera would steal from it's successful format?

(I think the funniest piece of trivia is how Margarita Cordova was the only original cast member who stayed through the show's entire run and she was a recurring maid for the Capwells)

So, here's to the humor, the drama, the couples and the trends this show set for Daytime Television.
