I've heard GENERATIONS was launched due to office romance than from any other factor! (And no Frons isn't involved, others who shall remain nameless)

I know exactly who you're referring to. That legend was posted on this board a couple of years back. Talk about a love for soaps, and all that work for just a year on the air? LOL.

As much as a hack Susan Lee was, she didn't cancel SB, her boss, the evil John Rohbeck!

So, this man is the one we should "thank" for NBC's budget saving concept of a two soap lineup? Hmmm.... Give me his picture and some darts. LOL.

It's about time ABC finally choose an "outsider" instead of recycling the same old people. Maybe he'll force the shows to save money and allow them to have a location shoot every now and then.

Or force them to whip themselves into shape. ABC has the most inconsistent lineup on the air right now. NBC focuses on the youth and the weird and CBS focuses on the character driven. But ABC is so jagged. Port Charles is a better acted and better written form of Passions. All My Children is slow paced and lethargic. One Life to Live is cartoonish and plot-driven. And From what I am hearing, General Hospital is going to be a bloodbath.
