How weird is that? :)

By taping 2 episodes a day for 1/2 a year
and going on hiatus the rest of the year
is a smart move, it will save them lots of money.
Also it will allow for LESS NETWORK involement
in story direction. Shows that only
tape around 3 weeks in advance will often get
stories re-written by network mandate, with this
new taping scheduele, PC will be taping Christmas
episodes in June! :) Sounds good to me, less Angie
and Felicia involved in last minute story changes.
Although the above is ONLY true when a soap is written
by talented writers, since PC is a hack-written show,
I think they will risk servere ratings declines if
a story goes bad and they won't be able to change it due to the new taping scheduele.

Also.... since reality shows have dropped in ratings in the
past few months, I highly doubt renewing PC was ABC's
1st choice. If reality shows were still red hot, PC
would be pushed aside for "Last Resort" in a heartbeat!
