On another message board someone posted
info regarding soap stars on 1987 episodes
of the $25,000 Pyramid on Game Show Network
that aired this week. It was the Battle of
the CBS Soaps: Y&R B&B ATWT and GL

Whats amazing about this is the fact
the CBS Daytime line-up is the same
in 2001 as it was in 1987! Not only
that, there have been a bunch of soaps
on NBC and ABC that have come and gone
since 1987.

Launched after 1987 and since Canceled:
NBC's Generations, ABC's The City,
and NBC's Sunset Beach.

Canceled: ABC's Ryan's Hope, NBC's Santa Barbara,
ABC's Loving, and NBC's Another World.

Premiered: ABC's Port Charles and NBC's Passions.

All while CBS aired Y&R B&B ATWT and GL
Maybe thats why they are still # 1 in daytime
decade after decade? :)

If Paul Rauch were AWAY from Guiding Light, I'd agree that CBS deserves to be number one.......Trey-Trey19:51:37 12/01/01 Sat
