The shock is over. For much of the 1990s when there were
rumors of GL's cancelation, I always thought CBS was
deathly afraid of "killing" the longest-running program
in broadcasting history. Its amazing that GL is OLDER
than the network which airs it. :) Due to the hack
job Rauch and others have done, I doubt there will be
the backlash there would have been a decade or 1/2 decade ago if CBS cancels GL. Much like AW, GL has been destroyed.
Its not like anyone cares about the current GL anymore.
CBS knows that and so the level of "protection" GL had
from its age, is fading fast.

New World doesn't exist anymore. FOX purchased
it in the mid 1990s. (Unless NW came back)

There were rumors VIACOM was going to buy GL and ATWT
but those rumors seem to be false.

>let the WRITERS do their job, soaps wouldn't be the >pathetic mess they are now.

Megan McTavish is doing her job. Its just that she's
a talentless hack! :)
