After 15 plus years of suffering with chronic pain, I really don't know how to raise the awareness of chronic pain to those who do not suffer its daily grind. Unless they actually feel the pain, people don't wish to care. And chronic pain groups like CPAC are just a tax on misery (Unless you pay for a membership, they will have nothing to do with you). Sadly, in the last 15 years, I have seen a decline in doctors going into the service of pain patients, not an increase (although there has been pain advocates in medical schools). My only conclusion is that we pain suffers must help each other, because no one else is going to come to our aid.
