I was recently told I have fibromyalgia is the top portion of my shoulder. My doctor told me it is like a cold sore. It never goes away, but can move locations. Heat helps sometimes and rest is the best medicine, however, not very practical. I am in school doing computer courses, which means my arms are constantly moving. Medicine, according to the doctor is not an option. (He doesn't believe it will be beneficial to me). Any suggestions to make the constant pain go away. He also told me not to exercise.

Thanks
