I had surgery for spondylolisthesis in 1995. It was great until last year when I got inflammation & now I can't set down. If I do I get inflammation in my lower back and my feet tingle. The pain in my back and the tingling is terrible. I found out I had breat cancer last spring and had surgery and chemo this summer. That was nothing like living in a body that can't set. I think of my knees going in a few years and just can stand think of being like this when I'm older.

I had a spinal fushion. Lots of metal. I have had injections. The 1st one helped a lot. But the next one didn't do much. I had one last week and have had not beneifts at all.

1. Is there any hope for me?
2. Are there chairs that let you lean/stand so you can get off your feet?
3. Does this happen to a lot of spinal fushions?
4. Could I have metal taken out or would that really do nothing but cause more scar tissue?

I pray someone can help me. I can't stand this standing all day, every day, year after year.
