It shouldn't even be a big deal. If they screwed up, what can you do? It happened already so there isn't an apology large enough that will silence the FCC. Basically, Justin grabbed the large portion of her breastplate and ripped it (thinking she had a bra under, I guess). That's what I got from his apology statement. Janet's, on the other hand, hers seemed cloudy. Here you have a 45 year old woman who is about to release her new cd and then all of a sudden, fate intervernes and VIOLA, she's disgraced all of SuperBowl Halftime Performances that ever graced the stage.

It's gotten so bad that the Grammy's banned her from performing? Let's not be too haste on our judgement. The Grammy's are comprised of old farts who vote each other's favorite singer and then call it a "jury". Whenever they see something of that magnitude, it damn nearly gave them a heart attack (or a boner). My point is, there are things shown on television that are far worse than what transpired last Sunday yet they make such a big deal over a stunt gone wrong. You can point all the fingers, blame all the people you want but it doesn't change the fact that the halftime show took away from the actual game itself. That is sad.

Seriously though, was anyone even watching the halftime show?!? The performances haven't gotten any better in the past couple of years that this one little event could top all those, all at once.

Bah. I hate the FCC. I dislike CBS, more. The End.

right now, Justin is getting a lot of flak, even Keither Olberman told him to "cry me a river". he comes off the stage and was proud of himself when he spoke to Access Hollywood then when the brouhaha starts, it's a "wardrobe malfunction"? then he's "shocked and appalled". he's covering his ass! the whole nudity thing, eh, no big deal. go to Europe, it's no biggie. even other celebs are calling him a "wuss" with Queen Latifah calling him "shady".chrystynne19:55:09 02/07/04 Sat

justin talks a big game but when push comes to shove, he's a pansy. he can't handle criticism so he tries to suck it up whenever someone calls him out. i just wish he had the balls to hone up to his mistake and/or blantant tit rip. my little 5 year old cousin calls him "justin tittyripper" now LOL! Right on Glenn I hate FCC with a passion and CBS more, I had no problem with the Super Bowl Halftime show and I didn't see the Justin ripping Janet boob untill that Monday whch they overplayed, and hell yeah I hate CBS more really other than the Grammy's and CSI or sports I don't watch all that much shows on CBS. And I have seen far worst than this on TV. I wish Justin would be a man and say I did wrong and made a mistake and not hiding under his people.Ben08:25:38 02/12/04 Thu
