Subject: Task 13

Task 13

Create a good communication activity and describe it to your classmates. Say which types it is, according to Littlewood.

The good communication activity that I suggest is make in class. You need to take the classmates forming a big encircle. And then one learner speak a loud voice one word, could be a noun, verb, adjectives or other word that they want. And them the classmate in their side wants to speak the word said and addict his new word. However, the word used to learner needs to make cohesion in the sentence. For example, if the first pupils said: I + was + driving+ on the + street + when+ my+ Ferrari… The next learner needs to know that the next word should be a verb, not a noun or other class of word.
Based in Litlewood, I think that this activity should be a good example of the functional communication activity because the learners in this activity should use the language that they previous known in order to get meanings across as efficiently as possible.
