Concordo que eles estejam criticando teorias, mas est�o tamb�m subscrevendo parte delas, como a necessidade de distinguir conceitos de express�es ling�isticas; talvez eu esteja redondamene enganado, mas eles foram expl�citos, dizendo "we are in position to maintain on this issue" e em seguida "we mean exactly that" no trecho que se segue: �We take no stand on the weak position. On empirical grounds, all that we are in positon to maintain on this issue is that at least some aspects of a great many concepts and conventinal linguistic exprtessions are metaphorical. (...) the strong positon is another matter. It seems false. (...) In saying that these concepts like plants and departures are at least partly understood on their on terms and not metaphorically, we mean exactly that we have no evidence that any of them is conventionally, automatically, and unconsciously understoood in terms of some completelly different conceptual domain.(...).�p. 135.
